Dallas Jerome Horejsi was born on March 25, 1948 to Charles and Leona (Honza) Horejsi in New Prague, MN.

On March 20, 1971 he married Marsha Petersen. Dallas was a Vietnam Veteran. Proud member of the Montgomery Honor Guard, Montgomery VFW, Montgomery Legion and Minnesota River Valley Masons.

He worked at Minnesota Valley Engineering (Chart) for 40 years. He loved fishing, especially his yearly Canada trips with his buddies.

Lynn L. Lambrecht, age 67, of Owatonna, formerly of Montgomery, died peacefully with her loving husband at her side at her home in Owatonna on Monday, March 13, 2023.  Lynn was born on September 23, 1955 in Gaylord, Minnesota to Loren and Lois (Kelm) Lade.  She grew up in Brownton, graduated from High School in Minneapolis, and completed her Bachelor’s degree at St.

John (Jake) “Pops” Keohen, age 83, of Montgomery, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather left this earth to join his heavenly Father on February 8th, 2022.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kay; his sons, John “Jake”, Pete, Matt, Tim’s widow, Diana; stepchildren, Scott (Diane), Craig (Carolyn), Pam (Larry), Faith (Randy) and sister, Kathryn (Tatty); 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Jerry; sisters, Mary Hennes and Patricia Rynda; brother, Jerry and son, Tim “Wally”.

Bernadine Ardell Struck, 72, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on November 30, 2021. The family is inviting friends to pay their respects on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Frieden's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lanesburg. Interment will be held in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.

David Graff, age 62 of Lonsdale, passed away unexpectedly on Monday evening, November 15, 2021, at the Northfield Hospital.

Rocky Stangler, 67, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery from 4:30 to 7 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Father Tom Niehaus officiating and visitation one hour prior.

Joan Warner, age 87, of New Prague, died peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Milestone Senior Living in Faribault.  Joan was born on June 13, 1933 in Mankato to William and AnnaJane (Fuller) Ward.  She attended Mankato High School and married the love of her life, Merle J.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 27 for Carol Freid, who passed away February 28, 2020. A visitation will be held at the Montgomery American Legion from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. A service will be held at 3 p.m. Lunch will follow.

Joseph (Joe) Frank Scheffler, age 98, of rural New Prague, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2020, at Traditions of Montgomery, where he and Evelyn have resided for nearly two months.   Joe was born on April 7, 1922, on a farm in Helena Twp., Scott County, MN to George and Anna (Jacques) Scheffler.   His loving wife, Evelyn and his children, are gratefull to have been able to spend days and nights with him until he passed.  

Jack Webster, 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2020, at the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna, MN, following a well-fought battle with cancer.
Webster was born in rural Pottawatomie County, Kansas on March 11, 1934 near the small town of Cleburne, to James and Bessie (Harter) Webster. He attended the one-room Belgrade Rural Grade School for six years, then graduated from Cleburne Elementary School in 1948. Webster attended, and graduated from, Cleburne Rural High School in 1952.

Edna Mae Webster, age 95, of Owatonna, formerly of Waterville, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Traditions of Owatonna.

Charles E. “Chuck” Kajer, age 60, of New Prague, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital New Prague.  Chuck was born on October 16, 1959 in St. Paul and was lovingly welcomed by his parents Ronald G. and Helen D. (Kes) Kajer.  He attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School, graduated from New Prague High School, attained his B.A. from St. John’s University, and an associate degree from Winona State College.  He married the love of his life, Jennifer “Jenny” A. Settergren on June 16, 1984 at St.

Bernice A. Maxa, age 89, of Shakopee, formerly of New Prague, died peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2019 at St. Francis Regional Hospital in Shakopee.  Bernice was born on June 30, 1930 in Kilkenny, MN to Peter and Anna (Frodl) Healey.  She attended Montgomery High School and married George J.

Ardis D. Kabes, age 87, of Waterville, died on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Janesville Nursing Home.
