Diamondbacks Head Into Last Week Of Season With 4-3 Record
As the Dodge County Diamondbacks head into the final week of a shortened regular Minnesota Baseball Association season, they find themselves in third place in the nine-team Twin Rivers League with a 4-3 record.
They split the first two games of the season, winning over the Pine Island Pioneers 3-2 in their first game and losing to the Waseca Braves 2-8 in their second outing.
They followed up with a three game winning streak, defeating the Wanamingo Jacks twice by 10-0 and 12-1, and the Owatonna Aces 11-7.
The Diamondbacks have been on the short end of the score their last two outings, dropping games to the Waterville-Racine Sharks 3-5 and the Rochester Roadrunners, 7-18.
They were scheduled for a second match-up with the Pine Island Pioneers Wednesday night.
They move into the final week of the regular season on July 24 when they take on the Austin Greyhounds and finish with a game against the Winona Chiefs on July 25.
The Diamondbacks have played their home games this season in Hayfield.
